EVENTS

A listing of upcoming events in-person, online, and podcasts.

Every week there’s a spiritually-focused online or in-person activity you can attend. If you are looking for spiritual healing here in St. Louis, see the list below for what’s coming up.

Friday, March 31, at 7:30  / First Church of Christ, Scientist, Creve Coeur

Ivimy Gwalter was one of the most dynamic workers in the Christian Science movement. She grew up in New York during World War I — a demanding time for all. This film explores how Gwalter’s demonstrations of Christian Science contributed to the healing of the country, the economy, and to many people ill from a major pandemic. A Christian Science teacher, she wrote many powerful articles for the Christian Science periodicals and was one of the longest-serving members of the Board of Directors.

This hour-long event is presented by The Peace Haven Association and The Effulgence Foundation

Saturday, April 1, at 7:30  / First Church of Christ, Scientist, Creve Coeur

Paul Stark Seeley was one of the most beloved lecturers in the history of the Christian Science movement. Graduating with a law degree from Harvard, he left his law practice to instead practice and teach Christian Science. The film documents both his achievements and the challenges he had to face and overcome. Mr. Seeley’s lectures fed a spiritually-hungry world with the truths of Christian Science.
