The Bible and Christian Science
What’s the connection?
You are invited to a special exhibit, “Mary Baker Eddy’s Biblical Interpretation.”
The Bible was central to the work and thought of Mary Baker Eddy (1821–1910), the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. Her writings overflow with biblical quotations and references. A limited-run exhibit on display in the Principia College Library features research from students on Mary Baker Eddy’s interpretation of Genesis, Exodus, Psalms, the Gospels, Paul’s letters, and Revelation.
Come see historic Bibles and Bible reference works from the Principia College Library Rare Books & Manuscripts Collections as well as a Dead Sea Scrolls replica jar.
In addition, enjoy a photo exhibit of “Mary Baker Eddy’s Churches and Homes” which highlights significant sites, events, and accomplishments in Mary Baker Eddy’s life and in the early history of the Christian Science movement.
